Course Introduction

Developing leadership skills is more than learning to be a good manager. Great leadership is first  and foremost an “inside job”. Before we can lead others with influence and confidence, we must first find the inner qualities and strengths to lead ourselves with conviction. Leadership from this perspective is a manifestation of our unique personal power, purpose and vision.

This Leadership Mastery course is designed with the purpose of developing a set of social and emotional competences, notably in terms of interpersonal relationship, in order to develop the main characteristics of effective leadership of teams. A particular importance is given to the development of proficiency levels of the following competences associated to leadership: the capacity to establish relations with the others; physical and moral courage; self confidence; self control; planning and decision making capacity; assertive communication skills; know how to influence; emotions and human qualities management; coordination and support.
